Did you know that your first telephone conversation with me is free? The fees of a mediation session start being calculated only when all parties involved in a conflict meet face to face in my office. Therefore, if you have any questions concerning the mediation process or if you want to know more about your eligibility for the free mediation hours in family mediation cases, do not hesitate to contact me… The initial phone conversation is free.

Informative Conversation

From the first telephone conversation, the mediator must be objective. This means that I cannot ask any questions regarding the dispute as such. During this conversation, I am simply trying to understand the situation with the person making the phone call. I also provide general information on the mediation process and on my own role as a neutral and impartial intermediary. Once the initial conversation is over, I contact the other party involved in the dispute and follow essentially the same approach. In addition to being free and informative, the first telephone conversation allows me to assess the situation and determine if mediation is indeed the best solution to resolve your dispute.
